As an example, our first completed project was a non-profit English language, international drama group, based in Amsterdam, Netherlands (as are we).

Before we worked on the site, no-one working on its predecesor had ever considered this issue. As a result, searching on 'English drama Amsterdam', for example, produced no results, even mentioning the site -on the first many pages of results. Finally, after many pages, the site was commented by another theatre site, so it finally appeared. The site itself never did show up, as a result.

Within a couple of weeks of the publication of the new site, built by us, things were very different. Searching for the keywords 'Amsterdam drama', saw the site ranked 3 on the results list (after a review of US TV drama, 'New Amsterdam', on a large UK TV review site and the "New Amsterdam' theater on Broadway, New York, on the Internet Broadway Database). Sometimes it is rated fourth, as the band,'New Amsterdam', is also high on the list. (Ranked 5 is a dead link to an old drama festival in 2007, so there seems to be no other competion). In fact it is hard to find any reference to drama in Amsterdam, Netherlands (rather than New Amsterdam, the old name for New York), high on the list.

The net result (no pun intended :-) of all of this, is that, since launch, a normal monthly hit rate, of 1-15 thousand, has become 168,000,in just the first 3 weeks of January 2009. The daily average has gone from 2-5 hundred to nearly 10,000 in the same time-frame.This will certainly result in more 'bums-on-seats', for their next production and therefore, more funds will be, in time,available to them, for moving ever onwards and upwards.
